Even more so, Americans are eager to live in a house where a murder occurred, with 75% indicating they would accept it for a discount (although a quarter of those who said yes would want more than 50 percent off).

1. Los Feliz Murder Mansion in Los Angeles has been sold.
Harold Perelson, a doctor, bludgeoned his wife Lillian to death with a hammer in 1959. He also attempted to murder his 18-year-old daughter, but she managed to flee. Although Perelson used a fatal mix of pills to terminate his life, he did not go after his two youngest children. The home is said to be haunted by several people.

2. The haunted Indiana doctor’s mansion has been sold.
Dr. John Gibbons lived (and worked) at this Victorian mansion in the 1890s. The home’s basement, known as the Whispers Estate, functioned as the doctor’s office, where many of his patients, including several children, perished. The doctor later developed pneumonia and died in the master bedroom. Former owners claim the house is haunted, but as long as you treat the spirits with respect, most of the paranormal phenomena you’ll see is harmless, such as jiggling doorknobs.

3. Haunted Florida Jail Sold

The Gilchrist County Jail has been dubbed Florida’s most haunted structure. In fact, when real estate agent Matt Perry attempted to make the listing live in April 2021, the whole Multiple Listing Service system failed for many hours, according to Realtor.com.
“My little joke is that the ghosts have only done one thing so far: they ruined the MLS when I attempted to put it online,” Perry told Realtor.com.
From 1928 until 1968, the prison was in operation. Those who have taken tours of the facility have claimed that past convicts’ spirits still haunt it.
